ABS-ESD7 FDM material

Electrostatically dissipative elements with 3D printing

For applications where electrostatic charge can damage components, affect performance, or cause explosions, FDM technology offers ABS-ESD7 electrostatically dissipative thermoplastic.
Engineers and designers can confidently use fixture tools and mounting seats made from this material to assemble electronic components.
Electrostatic dissipation can also be a critical requirement for products used for fuel storage and transportation.

3D printing from ABS-ESD7 material

Available on the Fortus 450mc and F900 3D printing systems, ABS-ESD7 enables electronics manufacturers to extend the reach of 3D printing to the production line. Its electrostatic dissipation makes it ideal for applications where the plastic part would otherwise attract dust and moisture. This thermoplastic can be used with soluble supports, allowing for break-free and contact-free support removal, and the production of complex parts requires little effort.
