AMT PostPro procedure
AMT (Additive Manufacturing Technologies) PostPro fully automated surface treatment technology smoothes and seals the surface of 3D printed polymer parts, achieving a surface that looks and feels like injection molded parts. Better mechanical properties
Extensive testing shows that the elongation at break (EAB) of steam-smoothed parts increases without reducing their ultimate tensile strength due to the removal of surface porosity and crack initiation sites.
Liquid and gas-tight surface
The steam smoothing process completely seals the surface, making it airtight and watertight, eliminating liquid or gas ingress.

Dimensional accuracy
The process does not degrade the mechanical properties of the parts. After surface treatment, the parts show a maximum dimensional change of 0.4%, regardless of the desired finish level.
