Stronger parts with 3D printers optimized for composite manufacturing

The F123 series composite 3D printers offer carbon fiber and engineering thermoplastics for manufacturing strong fasteners, tools, and parts. The open material system increases application versatility. Complete your machining with carbon fiber 3D printing!

Using high-strength composite materials is just the beginning! Optimized for composite manufacturing, the F123 series offers industrial processors and manufacturers much more: a wider range of materials, greater reliability – better capabilities than other similar printers.

Reliable composite 3D printing

Compared to other printers, Stratasys’ F123 series of printers optimized for composite manufacturing offer a wider range of substrates with greater print capacity, soluble support materials and lower printing costs due to a larger build area. Additionally, compared to other printers, the F190CR and F370CR have a larger, fully heated build chamber that can be combined with stabilizer walls, allowing users to print taller parts with superior mechanical and aesthetic quality.

Toolmaking with composite 3D printing

Composite materials for 3D printing can effectively overcome the schedule and budget challenges that are common in manufacturing.

Reinforced 3D printers developed for composite manufacturing

The Stratasys F190CR and F370CR 3D printers are engineered for high-strength, high-strength composites. They are designed for manufacturers and industrial operators to complement traditional manufacturing processes with the 3D printing of heavy-duty composites. The printers help produce end-user parts faster and more cost-effectively, making them ideal for the production of tooling, assembly seats, and other workpiece-holding tools.

Optimized for composite manufacturing, the F123 Series 3D printers feature reusable print trays, a built-in camera for remote monitoring, and a 7-inch touchscreen control panel. The Stratasys F370CR 3D printer also features automatic material change, meaning there’s no need to interrupt a print to change materials—simply insert a new cartridge and continue printing.

Application areas

Strong workpiece clamping devices

Carbon fiber materials allow for the replacement of machined metal with strong and rigid 3D printed soft chuck jaws, clamping seats, and manufacturing aids.

Durable parts

Composite materials provide the mechanical properties of durable, low-volume parts.

Functional prototypes

Leverage the high-strength capabilities of composite 3D printing to accelerate manufacturing with rapid, iterative functional prototyping.
