WEBINAR SERIES – Beyond Prototyping: Innovative AM Applications and Materials
From September 3rd to 24th, 2025, the 3Dnatives team, in collaboration with Stratasys, is hosting a free webinar series titled “Beyond Prototyping: Innovative AM Applications and Materials.”
Every Wednesday of the month, starting at 4:30 PM, a Stratasys expert, a global industry leader, will share real-world industry experiences related to additive technologies in a 30-minute presentation.
Webinar #1 – Maximizing AM Performance with Advanced Software Workflows
The success of additive manufacturing depends not only on the hardware and materials, but also on the software that enables precision, repeatability, and efficiency at industrial scale. In this webinar, Anirudh “Kumar” Krishnakumar, Senior Product Manager, will demonstrate how Stratasys’ advanced software platforms—such as GrabCAD Print™, GrabCAD Print Pro™ , and OpenAM™ —are optimizing workflows across industries. Learn how engineers are using model-based fabrication, slicing, traceability, automatic support generation, and fine-tuning open material parameters. The new software enables innovative applications for users from prototyping to series production.

Webinar #2 – Carbon Fiber Composites: The Role of AM in Toolmaking
Additive tooling is transforming how manufacturers approach the production of fixtures, gauges, and manufacturing aids. In this webinar, Niccolò Giannelli, FDM Enablement Director, will demonstrate how carbon fiber reinforced polymers are replacing metal in high-load applications – delivering comparable performance, but at lower weight and cost. Real-world industry case studies from automotive, aerospace, and heavy industry demonstrate how tooling lead times are being reduced from weeks to hours. New software workflows will also be discussed that enable easy implementation even without extensive AM experience, easing the journey from design to production.

Webinar #3 – From Prototypes to Production: AM Materials in Aerospace and Defense Innovation
Additive manufacturing is increasingly gaining ground in series production, proving its value in small batch sizes, customization, and high-performance applications. On this occasion, Gulay Bozoklu, Application Development Technical Service Manager, will present the aerospace and defense sector, where material and process innovations can produce production-ready parts with high thermal, mechanical, and chemical resistance. The topics will include high-precision silicon-based AM technology for seals, FST or ESD-certified tools and components, connectors, and rapid tooling. Learn how engineers achieve technical specifications and ROI in real-world applications.

Webinar #4 – Pushing the boundaries of prototyping: precision, performance and new polymer materials
Prototyping remains a core application of additive manufacturing – but the tools and materials available today are capable of much more than simple concept modeling. In this webinar, Naftali Eder, Manager Application Engineering, will demonstrate how advanced polymers and multi-material printing capabilities enable micron accuracy, functional strength, and aesthetic realism in a single manufacturing process. We will also gain insight into the next frontiers of prototyping, such as direct 3D printing onto textiles. Capabilities such as smart insert placement or Print-on-Objects are expanding the possibilities – from embedded components to seamless integration with textiles – redefining how prototypes are made and what they can do.
