Stratasys FDM Nylon12 3D printer material

3D printing can create durable components for specialized applications

FDM Nylon 12 is the same durable nylon material that is popular in traditional manufacturing due to its excellent price-performance ratio.
You can create advanced prototypes or custom tooling for applications that require high levels of fatigue resistance – all with clean, hassle-free FDM technology.

3D printing using FDM and Nylon 12

Nylon 12 parts made on Fortus 3D manufacturing systems are the most durable in the industry, delivering 100-300 percent higher elongation at break and much higher fatigue resistance than any other additive manufacturing technology.
Nylon has the best Z-axis layerability and highest impact resistance of any FDM thermoplastic, and it also has excellent chemical resistance.
